Ben
For some reason, Ben wants a web page. When I asked why he would want this, he said that we could keep his favorite funny pictures and animations in one place.

A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead are on the run from the law when they find an old barn to hide out in. The police are close on their tails, so when the women find three sacks, they immediately jump into them. About a minute later, a policeman comes into the barn and sees the suspicious-looking sacks. He kicks the first one.
“Meow,” says the redhead.
“It must be a cat,” thinks the policeman. He kicks the second sack.
“Woof,” says the brunette.
“Must be a dog,” thinks the policeman. He kicks the third sack.
“Potatoes,” says the blonde.

Good picture … good joke …
anything else?
not yet.
Ben,
I think it’s wonderful that you have your own page on your Dad’s sight. Maybe someday you’ll have your own blog! I liked your joke, it was funny!
Man, I feel bad for that kid everytime he tries to jump into the Pool.
Sam
ouch.. he is even holding his nose…
WOW! Where did you get the video of the chimp washing the kitty? I love it…I have 6 cats and wish that Chimp would come over and wash my cats. They refuse to take a bath!
Love your sight Ben!
Hey-how did you get that video of me trying to use a computer?
I love the penguins!
I think that the animations are not particularly funny, to be honest. I acknowledge that it simply may be that I don’t see the humor in them. Write me if you like.
Perhaps you would think these are funnier if you were ten years old like my son…
I’m not sure that the animation of the computer keyboard is one to have on such a great resource for Awana. I enjoyed what you had to say about how families in church need to be involved with the awana program. I happened to see this a was a little shocked?
You may want to consider what God says about keeping our mind on what is pure and lovely? (Phil. 4:8)
God Bless
It could be worse, you know. For example, we could take another quote of Paul out of context and debate that as well. How about Galatians 5:12?
My (I repeat) 10-year old son finds these animations funny. I have enough of a sense of humor to let him display these on a page on my site. If this troubles you enough to discount the rest of the content of my blog, I’m truly sorry.
So no, I am not going to sit my son down and explain why his page has to be deleted or why I will be editing out a friggin’ cartoon that cannot possibly be mistaken as a realistic image.
I am the one to decide what to allow on my son’s page inside my website. And I will not allow anyone to shame me with human-manufactured reasons to the contrary.
Finally, this page is one that is Ben’s, not mine. I will not entertain any further debate on this page. Especially a debate of legalism vs. liberty.
Doug
apparently I have the same sense of humor as Ben
gruesome as the keyboard animation is, (sigh), it reminds me of my job
like your site
have it bookmarked
keep enjoying the freedom Christ has given us
PEACE to you and your family now and in the year to come
May the Lord richly bless you as you continue trusting in and following Him
Chuck
